Title Summary: For all Persona spin-offs, this thread will hold the information as well as past Persona games and spin-off games except Persona 5 which has its own separate discussion. Game Information
Atlus announced games titled Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5 Dancing Star Night at an event in Yokohama Arena on Wednesday. In addition, it announced a game tentatively titled Persona Q2.
The new "dancing" games are slated to launch on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in spring 2018. Atlus opened a teaser website for both games, revealing trailers for each. The Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night trailer features the Persona 3 protagonist, Junpei, Yukari, and Aigis.
The Persona 5 Dancing Star Night trailer features the Persona 5 protagonist, Ryuji, Ann, and Makoto.
The Persona 4: Dancing All Night game shipped in Japan in June 2015. Atlus USA released the PlayStation Vita game in North America in September 2015 and NIS America released the game in Europe in November 2015. In the game, Persona 4 characters engage in a "dance battle" with the Shadows in the mysterious world of "Mayonaka Stage."
Late news on my end. I add the new videos to the opening post
Date confirmed: May 24, 2018 for both Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night and 5 Dancing Star Night
There is a bundle release info if you get them all together
Atlus will release both games separately but will also offer combo releases. The "Persona Dancin' Allstar Triple Pack" for PlayStation 4 will include both games along with a digital download of Persona 4: Dancing All Night, and the "Persona Dancin' Deluxe Twin Plus" for PlayStation Vita will include both games and DLC costumes from other Atlus games. Both packs will include a full soundtrack and package art by series character designer Shigenori Soejima.
Taka if any Persona girl deserves to wear the bikini armor it's Mitsuru. Without a doubt the most attractive girl (imo) in the Persona series and a strong party member as well... provided she doesn't constantly cast Marin Karin and Tentarafoo all the time lol.
Labrys and Sho Minazuki are from the Persona 4 Arena fighting games. It's weird because they are not Persona 3 or Persona 4 exclusive characters as that fighting game was spin-off collab between Persona 3 and 4.
These two have more connection to Persona 3's story but their events take place after Persona 4.
This is my last post for tonight. I have to go to bed for work tomorrow morning.
There is a new game, a sequel to Persona Q.
Atlus began steaming a teaser video revealing details on its Persona Q2 game on Sunday. The video reveals that the game's full title is Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth and it will ship for Nintendo 3DS on November 29 in Japan.
The video also reveals that the game will feature characters from Persona 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5. The game will add the female protagonist from Persona 3 Portable to appear alongside the male protagonist.
Hmm I really enjoyed P3-P5 but I never played the first PQ even though I do own a 3DS. Anyone know if the game is any good?
Persona Q is fan fiction when it comes to romance. It's pretty much fan service for the crossover when you go into the humor and character interaction dialogue. Since they are chibi characers, their quirks are overexaggerated for the humor. The story may seem wacky in nature. but the first Persona Q game can be a bit deceiving without spoilers. If you played Etrian Odyssey, the game play mechanic is very similar to that game. You make your own map as you progress through the dungeon. There are dungeon puzzles.
Bit unusual but I think they might be cutting budget
There will be no English voice over work
After being rated by the Australian Classification Board last month, it was yesterday confirmed Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth would be released on the 3DS in both North America and Europe later this year.
If you want to find out more information about this title, check out the existing article. One other rather important detail we’ve found out about the game since is regarding the voice overs. In a statement to IGN, an Atlus representative confirmed the western release would include a Japanese voice track and English subtitles. Here’s the full statement:
Persona Q2 New Cinema Labyrinth’s localized release will be available exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS with a Japanese voice track and English subtitles. There are no plans to add an English dub to the game at this time.
This is unfortunate to hear considering past localised entries in the series have included English voice work - including the original Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. It is also hard to say why Atlus has not added English voice overs, but perhaps it is to do with cost-cutting.
Old Man Dream: Well, I went ahead and already spoiled myself over later events in the series. Looks like that gets fairly messy with handling its little plot twist involving Rika, Satoko, and the mentioned story element having some assume there's some sort of...

Old Man Dream: ...Umineko crossover. May have liked the idea with better handling of the story development. But it's basically made Satoko a rather unlikable character now.

Taka: I see. A global release will benefit it. Gundam did pretty good. The only few franchises that are only popular in Japan but not popular in the west - Yokai Watch comes to mind.

Master Menos: F for Respects. DMX did all his work while suffering from a drug addiction, and I almost never knew until a point. I hope his next life treats him far better.
